Lex, grateful for his father's forgiveness and acceptance, couldn't help but wonder why he had been brought back from exile. "Is something wrong in the kingdom?" he asked, concerned.
King Fabiano's smile softened. "We don't have to discuss that right now. In fact, now that you're back, everything is finally right. Thanks to your sister, I've realized that my decision to send you away was a mistake. You are my son, and I want you by my side, where you belong."
Tears welled up in Lex's eyes as he realized the depth of his father's love and forgiveness. "Thank you, Father. I promise to serve you and the kingdom with all my heart."
