Chapter 152 Overwhelming emotions

• I looked away from Ashley to where Freya had stood, but she was no longer there. The other bridesmaids were staring wide eyed at the door which led to the main wedding location, where Freya had apparently hurried over to, murmuring different words among themselves.
• Dad patted my shoulders and made me look at him. “Listen to me, sweetheart. I’m sorry about what just happened, but I don’t want you to think about this, alright? We will have to talk about it later with your Mom, but now, it’s the big moment, and I want you smiling, happy and beautiful as I walk you down that aisle once the music starts. Can you do that for me?”
• I sucked in a deep breath, trying to block out what just happened and focus on the beauty ahead instead. Then I smiled at him, “I can do that, Dad. I’m actually so happy about today, that no one can really take that away from me.”
