Chapter 29 Death By Riding

  • The east estate of the Rantzen Family was easily a thirteen-digit property. As soon as the electronic gate admitted the limousine, Solene couldn’t help but gawk at the sight it offered. As expected, the mansion was enormous, the front garden was manicured to perfection and the view of the whole of Basque was spectacular and that was just inside the car.
  • Solene couldn’t help but be in awe of the place, but what really caught her attention the most and loved even further was the surrounding forestry. Everywhere she looked, there were greens and greens of different shapes and sizes. Some trees were in the process of changing into autumn colors and this added to the beautiful color palette of the area.
  • “I’m impressed,” Solene remarked as she sensed Henri leaning towards her. “This place of yours is the perfect representation of the saying ‘a mountain as its backyard.’”
