Chapter 7 Being Mean

  • They pulled up in front of the big villa. It was the rest home of the Sasha family. From where they are, they can see the vast sea at a distance, the blue water of the sea, and its white sand.
  • “I love the air,” Gaby said after getting out of the car.
  • Gaby opened her arms and savored the robust, fragrant air surrounding her body. The air flew off her hair.
  • “Fortunately, she’s not ice cream because if she is, she’s melting now. You and Clark are truly best of friends.” Matt whispered to Dylan. “The hot stare you and Clark gave Gaby makes her melt away.”
  • Dylan turned towards Clark, standing across and staring at Gaby. It was the first time Clark had stared at the woman, just like last night when he caught Clark and Gaby staring at each other.
  • Dylan smiled as he approached Gaby. He made her smile. “It’s lovely here!” Gaby said, looking at Dylan.
  • “I’ll bring your stuff,” said Dylan.
  • Gaby smiled, and they went in together. Clark got left out, his eyes chasing after them.
  • It is spacious and spotless inside the house because its paint is white inside and outside. The rest is glass walls where it can see the outside. It’s like a regular fully furnished townhouse with a big TV and upholstered sofa with black leather on the wall. Every corner has a large pot of plants planted with green plants that relax the entire home. There are many rooms, but the women want them to be together in the same room. The boys did the same, so they only occupied two rooms.
  • It’s a two-story house. They placed six big rooms on the second floor. Sasha and the other girls stayed in one room, so the boys did.
  • After lunch, they made their way to the beach. The guys were there first. They brought beer in the cooler and junk food. There is a shed where you can relax. There is also room for a campfire.
  • “Hey, Clark, the view is beautiful. Maybe you can separate your eyebrows.” Matt chuckled.
  • Dylan and Clark were sitting inside the hut. They wear sleeveless shirts and beach shorts, while Riki and Matt are topless.
  • “You are always the same. Haven’t you gotten over it yet? “Dylan asked when he looked at Clark.
  • Dylan saw how Clark was looking at Gaby earlier. He wasn’t sure, but he felt Gaby had attracted Clark’s attention effortlessly. Clark drank a beer before he talked.
  • “You like her, don’t you?” Clark asked.
  • Dylan smiles when Clark switches topics. “When did you get interested in my love life?” Dylan asked.
  • “You don’t have a love life until now, do you?” said Clark, smiling.
  • When the girls approached, Gaby immediately spotted Dylan. She smiled. Dylan is still handsome, and his personality hasn’t changed. The first reason she fell for him before. Her vision passed Clark, and she suddenly felt nervous about seeing his smile. This was not a forced smile but a genuine smile. She was stunned and held onto her chest. She did not know whether they could hear her heartbeat because she seemed deafened by its force.
  • ‘What is it? Am I going to die?‘ Gaby thought
  • It’s almost the same when she has a heart attack. All three girls noticed her stop.
  • “Why Gaby?” Belle asked
  • “Are you alright?” Ashlee asked
  • She shook her head and smiled. “I- I‘m fine.”
  • ‘God, please don’t take me now. I enjoyed myself very much in the Philippines. This is a warm country.‘ Gaby thought
  • They went up to the shack where the boys were. “Whoa!” said Riki and Matt immediately.
  • All three women wore two-piece bathing suits, but Gaby wore shorts with her two-piece bathing suit as a top that could see Gaby’s curvy body. Her body is every woman’s dream. She looks like a living Barbie doll with a beautiful curvy body and flawless long legs that are so smooth.
  • Gaby has a charming appeal, and she can attract everyone’s attention when she smiles. That’s why its image has become more approachable.
  • Dylan and Clark turned to what both men were looking at. “You’re hot…” said Riki. “You’re even more Gaby!”
  • “Are you sure you’re not an actress or a model?” Matt asked.
  • “Perhaps you are a beauty queen.” Riki went on.
  • “You two are flattering me,” Gaby said, giggling.
  • Clark frowned as he watched and listened to the conversation. “Hey, you two, you’re undressing Gaby with your gaze,” said Clark.
  • “Jeez, Clark, you are judgmental, don’t you know that?” said Matt.
  • “You two, sit beside me,” said Clark.
  • The two men approached Clark. “Being old-fashioned doesn’t suit you,” said Gaby as she came and sat beside Dylan.
  • “Why do you wear that outfit?” said Clark.
  • “Of course, we’re on the beach. What do you want us to wear, sleepwear?” Belle said, annoyed.
  • “Can be,” said Clark. “You can still swim wearing that, right?”
  • “You are a real downer. Gaby is sexy. Why not just like her? “said Sasha.
  • Clark glanced at Gaby. Undeniably, Gaby was beautiful and sizzling hot.
  • “She doesn’t look sexy in my eyes. And the last thing, when did the flat-chested become attractive?“ Clark said while drinking beer.
  • ‘Geez! Do I have to lie?’ Clark thought.
  • “What did you just say? Did you call my body names?“ Gaby asked.
  • “It is true. Honestly, I don’t see any difference between yours and theirs.“ Clark said.
  • “You are a pain in the ass! You are so mean, Clark,” said Sasha, throwing her slippers at Clark.
  • “What!” Clark asked, annoyed because Sasha’s slipper hit his abdomen.
  • “You know, if you don’t want to see what we’re wearing, close your eyes,” Ashlee said, upset.
  • Dylan was staring at Gaby. “You still haven’t changed, Gab! You’re a thief.“ Dylan says suddenly.
  • Gaby frowned. “I’m sorry, I’m not a thief.”
  • Dylan smiled. “Yes, you are. I suggest you go to confession for stealing my heart.”
  • Sasha, Ashlee, and Belle started screaming. “Is that a ninja move, Dylan?” said Matt.
  • “I never thought you were this korny, Dylan,” said Clark.
  • “Stop, Clark. I could tear out your tongue, put it on your neck, and strangle you,” said Sasha.
  • Clark chuckled at what Sasha said. “Hey, Dylan, why didn’t you mention Gaby?” Sasha asked.
  • Dylan just smiled. “Why? Have you known each other for a long time?“ Clark asked in disbelief.
  • “Yes, she’s my best friend when….” Dylan said.
  • “And why wouldn’t I know? I’m your best friend, and then you have another best friend? “Clark smirked. “You are a two-timer.”
  • Everyone laughed. “Dude, I already told you about her. Don’t you remember?“ said Dylan.
  • “But you didn’t tell me that Gaby was a girl! I thought she was a man based on your story.“ said Clark.
  • “Sorry!” said Dylan with one hand on his head.
  • Dylan told Gaby to Clark back then, but Dylan didn’t clarify that Gaby was a woman.
