• I had gotten a lot better at baking. There were plenty of cookbooks in the office and games room to learn from. Of course I had to use powdered egg or egg free recipes but Daddy always liked my cakes and pastries. It kept my mind occupied which occasionally wandered to worrying about the outside world and if I'd ever see it again. Experimenting with different recipes was fun.
