• She looked me up and down as if to gauge my weight. "You should only have one more," she said loud enough for the bartender to hear her. I had not noticed, but the bartender had already begun refilling my glass. My new friend guided me off the stool and then took my glass and led me toward the back of the bar and an empty circular booth. Using my hand to direct me, she had me slide into the booth. She then placed my wine in front of me and sat down herself.
