Chapter 26

• She arrived at La Lune around 8 PM. She had her dinner by the beach, contemplating on her own, then she decided to have lots of drinks. She took a spot on the bar and ordered vodka martini. She was going to have a lot of those for the rest of the night. She was minding her own business, but after a few drinks by herself, some guy thought she was looking for company.
• Lucas watched her from afar. He hadn't seen her since that night at the club. It was impossible for her to be at La Lune and not be seen by Lucas. He was entertaining important guests but he never let his eyes off of her.
• She was acting weird that night, John was nowhere in sight. When a strange man approached her, he watched them more intently.
