- Far off to the side there was Eva, a tall dusk elf with condescension permanently shining in her eyes and an arrogant smirk constantly on her lips. Raynulf had learned that she was the daughter of some important woman in Ero-Ti and thought that her mommy's money and influence made her better than everyone else. She had assembled a group of lackeys and sycophants already who looked up to her, including Ophelia.
- Eva was currently glaring at Tanyth, who sat alone at the opposite end of the room. Raynulf remembered that Tanyth and Eva had bickered the day before just outside the dormitory. The small tiger-fauneth still seemed consumed by rage and spite, and she ate her noodles with an energetic fury while casting fierce glances at anyone who looked her way.
- The two royals sat apart from everyone else, aside from their servants. The slim, blonde sea elf who was a daughter of some grand boyar was even more haughty and self-absorbed than Eva. High Lady Liliya treated her servant Daphne like a slave, hurling demeaning insults at the short but quite curvy half-elf girl with every command she gave her. The Imperial Princess Gwenyth however looked at everyone with awe and wonder. The tall, curvy, pink-haired human girl seemed eager to mingle and talk with anyone, but her kitsune protector Riko furiously guarded her. Riko hadn't let anyone even approach Gwenyth, and if she had her way no one would even be allowed to look at her.
