- Before the rise of the King of Passion, there were some separations between the various races of mortals. Elves seldom lived with halflings, humans often refused tieflings entry into their cities, and the tribes of the different Fauneth beastfolk rarely intermingled. After the Reigns of Dominion however, nearly all races are present and welcome in all communities. Old enmities and hatreds have been long forgotten, wiped away in the devastations that accompany the rising and falling of the King of Passion. Only the dwarves in their fortified and secret holds remain separate from all other mortal kindreds.
