- "I dare you to dump a 5 gallon bucket of water onto your head." Avery said in a hard voice, not even waiting for Roxanne to prompt for the challenge.
- Lexi was confused by the dare. She had expected something cruel, a hard and bitter test of gross humiliation. This seemed simple, far too basic to come from Avery while she looked so full of fiery rage and fury. Maybe Avery was just too unnerved and agitated by the groping to make a good dare. Lexi should have thought about it more, but she was still unbalanced enough by the vodka that she didn't pause to consider it too much.
