- Next there was a brief moment of silence, though to me it felt like an eternity. During this time my mind raced from one thought to another, barely able to process what I had just learned. The idea that this was some sort of murder cult now seemed tame in comparison to what it actually was. I had been kidnapped to be part of some crazy sex ritual, and I had been chosen because I was someone they were sure the other participants would have to swallow their pride in order to engage with. - Soon enough Ivy broke the silence. "Candidates, the trial has now started.
