Chapter 39

• BY THE SWIMMING HOLE, Melissa was standing at the top of the ridge. They're now out of the water, as she was dripping wet. Her whole body was soaked with water. There she was drying her hair with the palm of her hands, pressing it gently as drops of water fell to the ground. It didn't bother her much because she had quite the fun all day. She flipped her hair backwards.
• Turning back around, Melissa saw someone who had been watching her all this while. Her eyes widen. It's Dylan!
• Melissa stops what she was doing, and her mouth gaped widely to say, "Oh my God. Oh my God. Dylan...you're alive?"
