• Next thing that happened at midnight was the pounding footsteps that raced up towards Bailey's house. It was Cooper. He was now wearing a hoodie jacket and sky blue jeans. He wasn't pretty sure that Melissa would ever talk to him after what happened at the party but he knew deep down in his heart that he had to make things right. Or at least try to.
• "Melissa! Melissa!" Cooper shouted, banging the front door repeatedly.
• The sound of his voice was more than enough to wake the dead. Soon, Melissa opens the door, surprised. A very long beat. She stares at him. "It's late. What are you doing here?"
