Chapter 18 The End of the Second Book

• Thirty-8 weeks had gone by quicker than expected. Karen holding onto as Gregory was standing by her encouraging her to push, it had been eighteen hours already and she was about to meet her baby. Gregory would be a father of a baby boy and she was watching and seen a black mist and she knew this was the last push. She was tired and shortly she heard her son cry for the first time. They quickly laid her baby on her chest and looked down to see her beautiful son. In the waiting room was Crystal holding her daughter and Gregory's father was pacing as Karen's parents were waiting to hear about their daughter. Tasha, who was holding Lisa who was adopted by Karen and Gregory since she had no one else, next to her was her mother. They were between Gregory senior and Karen's father. Her brother, Jeremy and her sister-in-law, Alice, were holding their son, Tristen. Then Gretchen and her husband, Eric came in with their three children, Gwen who was Gretchen's daughter, Sonya who was Eric's daughter from and little Tabitha named after Gwen's cousin. Shortly came Jimmy and his family along with Karen's extended family, Richard, Alex, Carol, and of course Melissa and Harold and a few other Rosewells. Gregory came out of the room and the waiting room was packed; Karen is doing great. Our son, Gregory Daniel Steele, is healthy and perfect."
• Karen's mother smiled because Daniel was the name of her grandfather. She couldn't wait to see her daughter. It was a couple of more hours before they were able to see Karen, who was tired. They put her son in the nursery so everyone could see him. He didn't cry was looking at them, he had Karen's eyes and chubby cheeks, but he also looked like his daddy too. Karen's mother would wait to see her grandson first she wanted to see her daughter. Her mother stopped and looked at her grandfather, she knew he was there with his granddaughter. He was always with her since her birth.
