Chapter 34 Brand New: Cyrus POV

• I held onto Leo's arm as we began to walk down the steps. I did not feel like going anywhere today. Between the morning sickness and thinking about my miscarriage, I felt tired. Tired of thinking right now. I'd rather be in bed with my mate, letting thoughts of him consume me. Instead, I was walking towards the infirmary for an ultrasound. Still, I hoped I was pregnant.
• That one thought was the only thing that even led me to agree with this. As I followed Marie to the back, I leaned into Leo. He glanced at me, studying me briefly before wrapping his arm around my waist and pulling me close. I purred quietly, which led to him rubbing my side as we followed the doctor into a room. I sat on the examining table while Leo stood next to me. The brunette in front of us smiled widely as she stuck her hands in the pockets of her white coat,
