Chapter 33 Sick: Leo POV

• I listened to my baby's quiet breaths as he slept against my chest. He'd fallen asleep sometime between me washing his body and hair. Glancing down, I studied his beautiful features. From this angle, I could clearly see how long his dark lashes were as they painted shadows across his cheeks. His addicting lips pressed together gently as he continued to sleep. He was so tired. I don't even think he'd really eaten today. Now that I think about it, had I?
• I sighed softly as I picked up my sleeping beauty from the cooling water. Wrapping him in a towel, I walked into the bedroom and carefully laid him on the bed. He whined in his sleep as I let him go. I quickly grabbed my pillow and placed it against his chest, causing him to roll over to his side with it trapped in his arms. I couldn't help but smile at the adorable sight before going back to the bathroom and letting the water out of the tub.
• I went to the shower and washed up as quickly as possible so I could get back to my adorable mate. Apparently, though, not fast enough, as the sound of rushed footsteps trailed into the bathroom. I started to tease him before the sound of dry heaving bounced off the walls. I quickly shut the shower off and stepped out to check on him. His hunched form was easy to see as he continued to do painful dry heaves into the toilet. I held his hair back and watched worriedly as tears formed in his eyes from the action. Kneeling on the floor behind him, I rubbed his back, trying to soothe the painful-looking actions. After about five minutes, he stopped and leaned his back against me, his breathing evening out. I ran my fingers through his hair as I rubbed his stomach,
