Chapter 1 Before The Begining

  • Vasu perceived that he was dead, when he saw his own body lying on the bed and a
  • high jet of energy escaping from his inner core challenging his mortal existence. He did survive the combat.....The Death Combat, but his presence in the world of mortals was unwelcomed.
  • Though he returned, he was left with a series of unsolved riddles; his reputation, his
  • career, his ego........all was at stake. This was what he believed, but destiny
  • had a different program, a cosmic blue print for Vasu. In the cosmic
  • encounter, he felt prey to his self-hypnotized resolutions and unknowingly
  • geared a giant leap into the future.
  • He never knew, he duplicated his soul, in short, an empyrean cloning of his energy,
  • which got trapped in a SKULL THUMB RING in the form of an electromagnetic
  • field. To free himself from all his worldly attachments, he detached himself from all his
  • possessions, some were robbed, some snatched and some stolen. He didn’t know
  • and accepted everything as apart of his cosmic voyage.
  • Vastav felt a warm sensation in his pocket. He put his hand and took out the skull thumb
  • ring . Holding the ring with both his palms, he looked at it deeply hoping to
  • get strength and courage for returning to his destination. But a strong current
  • flowed out from the ring, struck his eyes and Vasu’s hope of remaining awake
  • crept into the deeper level of darkness. The Skull Thumb Ring slipped from his
  • hands and rolled into a dark corner of the Railway Compartment.
  • In his three
  • days trial, Vasu’s energy level tossed between different realms and made him
  • believe that a parallel world does really exist.
  • Nobody ever
  • wondered a high source of energy lied dormant in the corner of a Railway
  • Compartment. Even Vastav didn’t know why he boarded the Rajdhani Express
  • whereas he should be in Kalongpar Express. His destination was Nagaon, not New
  • Delhi.
  • Vastav had
  • to leave the station to escape from the ravage of death and his fate succeeded
  • in bringing him out of the metallic area.
  • Destiny and
  • fate cannot be separated. It was Vasu’s faith in the Unknown which was destined
  • for his existence. His life which was at stake came home finally after the
  • storm was over.
  • Vasu totally
  • lost in a different world, was lying in the bed with deep marks on the face,
  • body and visible part of the psyche. His outlook was enough for anyone to
  • realize what pain he had undergone these days of trail. But some higher power
  • was governing Vasu’s present energy field, his parents and his sister. Nobody
  • enquired........ What happened?
  • Either they
  • realized what happened or couldn’t make out what happened.
  • Vastav now
  • have lots of free time which became almost impossible to pass. He even forgot
  • the spiritual encounter which he had in Guwahati. The near death experience,
  • the out of the body experience all seemed an unsolved riddle.
  • He shuffled
  • all the books and magazines in his book shelf.
  • Suddenly a
  • magazine caught his attention.......
  • “THE CORPORATE PAATHSAALA”
  • He turned
  • the pages randomly ad stopped on seeing a photograph.
  • “I forgot
  • her name, but her unconstrained wild short temper can never be forgotten. She
  • was the best in all aspects. I wonder why she always competed with me. After
  • all she was totally alien for me.
  • It becomes
  • easier sometimes to recall the golden past when the present is despairing and
  • vague. Vasu became nostalgic when he turned the pages of the College Magazine.
  • “Where is
  • she now, as per my calculations she must have completed her Masters if she
  • continued so.
  • Yes, I
  • remembered, she is Sanchita, one of the best students of my college....
  • but, her
  • attitude .......Oh My God!!”
