- We hadn't even reached the Pack border when Beatrix mind-linked me to inform me that Melissa and Abby had escaped. We'd driven for 40 minutes before turning around. I was enraged. I eventually discovered whose Pack they belonged to and who had been harming my kids, and they were about to flee from me.
- I may despise hybrids and am unsure if I want to give in to the mating link, but she is mine.
