Chapter 10 Unfortunate Escape

• Melissa's POV
• When the truck came to a stop, I awoke and lay freezing under the cover. I could hear music roaring and a lot of voices if I listened attentively. I had no idea how long we had been in the tray because I had collapsed from exhaustion not long after our escape. When I was certain that the coast was clear, I poked my head out from behind the tarp, looking for anything that could tell me where we were. We were in a parking garage.
• Looking around, I could tell we were at a pub, one I'd never heard of, so we weren't in Black Moon territory, but where precisely were we?
