Chapter 33

• We were having dinner in silence but then Ryan spoke up, "Rebecca, I am going to Paris for a business meeting and I want you to stay at my parent's home while I would be gone."
• "You don't have to bother Ryan. I can stay at home." I tried to reason. I know how we got married and I can understand how much his parents hate me, they will not bear me even for a second and if he is not here, it will only make the matter worse.
• "You can't Rebecca. I know what you are thinking, don't worry, no one will degrade you." he assured. He put his hand over mine and gave it a squeeze. I smiled and lowered my head.
