Chapter 4

• Just as I entered the banquet hall, I heard Mr. Gilbert introducing his daughters, when my eyes fell on the girl on the stage beside him, my breath hitched.
• It was none other than my angel, for whom I was looking from the past three years, I never thought I would be able to see her in my engagement.
• She looked more beautiful than three years ago, but she had lost her innocent smile, it was visible that she forced that small smile, her eyes were not like it used to be, now it seems that there was no life in that beautiful eyes.
• I know, one thing very well, that I am not going to lose her this time, and this is also the fact that I cannot stop this engagement, because I worked hard on the project in which we are working in collaboration. The project is registered under Mr. Gilbert's first daughter.
• We had planned it for so long; we don't want this marriage to look like a business marriage, so everything was planned.
• We displayed like, it was Gilbert's first daughter who was in charge of this project, and I fell in love with her, so the share on her name would be mine after marriage.
• I will marry the first daughter and keep my angel, or should I say, my Jane, I love her name, as my mistress, in fact, I will prison her by my side forever.
• I don't like the hungry eyes of every man looking at my Jane; she is only mine. I will never allow her to step out of my house.
• I asked Andrew to arrange a small meeting with Mr. Gilbert before the engagement ceremony starts.
• Marco’s POV
• I know that Mr. Gilbert will not deny my proposal; he is just a greedy man with no ethics.
• Soon Mr. Gilbert came to my room, which was on the same floor on which the banquet is arranged.
• He entered my room with his elder daughter, I frowned at first, but what I was going to discuss was something she should also know.
• All I want is my Jane.
• This marriage was just a business marriage, no feelings attached; I am not bothered by what she feels about me after knowing my thoughts.
• He entered the room and greeted me formally, “Hello, Mr. Walter, how are you?”
• I extended my hand, and we shook our hands just like two different businessmen.
• I directly came to the point, “Mr. Gilbert, I can increase your share by 10 percent in this project if you agree with my one request.”
• I can see the greed shining in his eyes, and he said, “Sure, Mr. Walter, what can I do for you?”
• I said, “I want your younger daughter to be my mistress, and that too starting from tonight” fact was I just wanted to finish this ceremony and fuck my Jane senselessly.
• Mr. Gilbert thought for a moment and smiled, saying, “it will be done, Mr. Walter and Jane will be yours from tonight.”
• When my eyes fell on his elder daughter, I cannot read her expressions, unlike my Jane, she is like an open book for me, but her sister is completely different from her.
• I don’t know whether she was jealous of her sister or concerned about her sister; she didn’t say anything and left the room.
• I turned to Mr. Gilbert; he said, “my younger daughter is a little stubborn, so I will drug her drink, and after that, she is yours, but don’t forget our deal.”
• After a short discussion, we left the room to start the ceremony. I just want to finish it as quickly as I can, and then Jane will be mine.
• I am sure she must have had some relationship in the last three years; although I didn’t like this idea of anyone else touching her, I cannot go in the past and change that, but from tonight I will make her mine forever.
• Jane’s POV
• I felt suffocated in the banquet hall, so I thought to move out of the banquet for some fresh air before the ceremony started, but I lost my way back and came to the room sections.
• It was very silent here, and I couldn't find anyone to ask my way back to the banquet, but all of sudden I felt, I heard my Dad’s voice and I strolled following the direction of the sound.
• I stood near a door, and what I heard blew my mind, he just said, “my younger daughter I,s little stubborn, so I will drug her drink and after that she is yours, but don’t forget our deal.”
• He is doing the same thing that he did with my Mom; he always drugged my Mom and forced her to sleep with his different business partners to get the projects.
• I remember my Mom’s last words, “never let him drag you in this shitty world, protect yourself any which way, but never fall in this abyss.”
• My tears started rolling down; I never thought my Dad was such a disgusting man, I pressed my palms tightly on my mouth so that my sobbing voice wouldn't let him know that I already know his plan.
• While running back, I found a waiter, and he guided me towards the banquet hall. My mind was blank.
• My throat was dry; I saw a waiter walking with a tray of small water bottles; I grabbed the bottle, twisted its cap, and gulped the water in one go.
• I have to think of a way to go out of the banquet, but my Dad’s men won’t allow me to leave.
• All of a sudden, my body started heating up. I felt uncomfortable in my whole body.
• I was startled when I realized that the water bottle was not packed, which means my Dad has already taken his action. 
• I was panicking, thinking about how I was going to get out of here.
