• I felt a little uneasy during the 30-second period of silence because he was neither speaking nor responding to what I had just said aloud.I suppose I'm a little disappointed in his response because in some of the movies I've seen, when a husband discovers that his wife is no longer virgin, he becomes furious and divorces me right away.
• " Hey, did you hear me?! I said I am no longer a virgin and had a one night stand with a stranger before this marriage!" I spoke up again, growing impatient with the room's long silence.
