Chapter 16

• Saint said nothing as he drove to Serenitea. He just looked straight at the road, I looked at the backseat of his SUV and there was a big teddy bear costume that I knew he would wear later.
• He said he parked the car at the Mall so my brother and I couldn't see us. I took a deep breath and got out of the car. I looked at Saint and he looked at me the same.
• We stared at each other for how many seconds but then he immediately looked away. He turned his back on me and was about to step forward when I immediately called him.
