• Everything seemed very blurry to him. He could tell that the guy who died did not kill himself. He had handled similar cases in his line of work a lot of times, so he could tell when something seemed fishy. Damian was just too trusting of those who worked for him, so he didn't have the time to think of the possibility of someone among his men playing him dirty.
• It just took one look from Freddie to notice that the man was killed by someone very close, and he might be among those present at the scene. Though he can't point out any suspect as of the moment. The situation wasn't as easy as it seemed. He knew he should have been quiet about his suspicions, but then, he just couldn't help the idea that while he was trying to put Damian behind bars, there might be someone with a more dubious plan. What was he to do if it happened that while he was tracking one down, another was actually in their midst?
