• Most of the ladies he was talking to were glaring at her and she immediately looked away the minute her eyes landed on them. What the heck? Why were they glaring at her like that?
• "So... I thought I'd keep you company," Jonas's voice made her aware of his presence. Looking into his blue eyes again, she suddenly had an inkling of why the women were glaring at her.
• Were they perhaps glaring at her because of Jonas!? She shifted on the chair sideways hoping to put a little distance between her and Jonas. She is here to get a job and maybe make some friends but certainly not enemies on her first day.
