• Lestat left Jessica outside his house and drove off.
• “Call mother,” Lestat said. Lestat got a dead tone.
• ‘Where are you, mother,’ he wondered since he has not heard from his mother for a few weeks. The last time he heard of her was when he visited her after she insisted, he comes around on a Sunday evening for dinner.
