Chapter 3 You Cheating Bastard!

  • Chapter - 03
  • "You guys are what?" Amanda frowned when she heard Thea.
  • "I said... He is my boyfriend," Thea was not the rash type. But with Barry on the line, Thea did not want to back down as well.
  • Meanwhile, the other girl with Amanda, who filmed everything inside the restaurant, pulled out her phone. This was a spicy twist in drama, and she had to make sure that there was an audience for it.
  • "Hey... Why did it start again?"
  • "Are there more surprises?"
  • "Amanda now just wants to rub it on our face that she got the school hunk,"
  • "Who's the other girl?"
  • "She is wearing some sort of uniform. Does she work at the restaurant?"
  • "Maybe they forgot something on their way out,"
  • "Weird... Why would they start broadcasting again just to show us this?"
  • "Listen, you..." Amanda was angry, "I don't know why you are doing this. But keep this up, and I won’t take it lying down." Amanda threatened Thea as openly as she could.
  • "What the fuck?"
  • "How did that girl piss Amanda?"
  • As soon as they heard Amanda, the comment section was flooded.
  • "I am not here to talk to you," Thea did not flinch, "I am here to talk to my boyfriend."
  • "I am not your boyfriend anymore. I am breaking up with you," Barry almost screamed when he had had enough of it. He tried to hide it all until the end, but Amanda still found it out. He could do nothing about it now.
  • "What?" Thea was taken aback by Barry's sudden proclamation. She could not believe he would break up with her just like that. And not just Thea, Barry's words took everyone by surprise, and the chat went into a frenzy this time.
  • "OMG... Omg... Omg... Did you guys hear that?"
  • "I can't believe he already had a girlfriend. Was he two timing?"
  • "Did Amanda know about it?"
  • "Poor Amanda. Without any fault, she is stuck between the two of them."
  • "But the girl is too much. She is being unnecessarily clingy."
  • "She could have waited to clear it out in private. Instead of ruining it all for Amanda."
  • "But she is heartbroken. Her boyfriend just left her for someone else."
  • "But how does it concern Amanda?"
  • While everyone was busy siding with Amanda, Thea found it hard to wrap Barry's words around her head. She never did anything wrong, so why was he breaking up with her?
  • "What? Why? I don't understand. Weren't things going fine?" Thea asked.
  • "Well, for you, maybe they were. But what about me?" Barry looked at Thea and rolled his eyes, "Did you ever think what I was going through?"
  • "What do you mean?"
  • "Huh... You don't even know," Barry scoffed, throwing his arms.
  • "... Eleventh of the last month, does it ring a bell?" Barry looked at Thea with a questioning gaze.
  • "Eleventh... Last month?" Thea looked at Barry's face, confused. Birthdays and anniversaries in the last month? But there were none. Then something struck her.
  • "Is it about that day when I missed your calls?" Thea hesitatingly asked.
  • "So… You do remember," Barry mockingly looked at her.
  • "But you said everything was fine when I met you the next day," Thea hurriedly said in her defence.
  • "I was in an accident," Barry said flatly, leaving no room for excuse, "I sprained my ankle in practice. I was in pain, it was hurting badly, and I called for you endlessly, hoping that you would come. But you didn't even have the time to pick up the phone."
  • "It was Amanda who helped me that day. She was there beside me for every second that I was in pain," Barry said.
  • "Babe..." Thea called out to Amanda lovingly, "I didn't know. You know that I would never leave you alone if I knew that."
  • "But that is the problem... You don't even have the time to know what is going on in my life anymore. If I am fine or not. Heck... You did not even know how much the distance had grown between us until today."
  • "Babe..." Thea could feel how hurt Barry was by his words, "It was just that one time. What about the countless times that I was there, beside you?" Thea said as she tried to get close to Barry and hold her.
  • "That one time is what counts, Thea," Barry flatly said.
  • "But I was doing it for our future, for us."
  • "There is no us anymore, Thea," Barry said as he took a step back, avoiding Thea.
  • "Enough... He has made himself clear. Now back off, dude," Amanda finally spoke up as she got between Thea and Barry and pushed Thea back.
  • "Don't touch me," Thea flung Amanda's arm in annoyance and said, "I am not talking to you. It's between me and my boyfriend."
  • "Ex - boyfriend," Amanda said and pushed Thea even further, "Now don't be a child whining for a toy. Just leave."
  • "I said get your hands off me," Having enough of Amanda added to the heart-piercing words of Barry, Thea finally lost it. She grabbed Amanda by his arm and twisted it.
  • "Ahh... It’s hurting. Leave me, you bitch," Amanda cried out in pain.
  • But that was not enough for Thea. She was angry. Angry at Barry for leaving her. Angry at Amanda for being the bitch and taking her boyfriend away. But more than that, she was angry at herself.
  • She worked painstakingly without getting any sleep just to save enough money to get to college. But here was this bitch with tons and tons of money, playing around all day. Yet, she gets to be the nice girl, while all her efforts are neglected and thrown aside. How could this be fair? Why were her parents not rich? Why was she not rich? If she was rich, would Barry still have chosen Amanda over her?
  • Suddenly Thea found no meaning in her life. Now all she wanted to do was vent out all her bottled emotions, and Amanda was the unfortunate one to bear it all.
  • So while Amanda crouched, groaning in pain, Thea punched her right in her face.
  • Amanda was rich, but she was hardly any strong. She was not even a good ballerina. She made it to the troupe because of connections. So with just one punch on her nose, Amanda was on the ground.
  • "Aaahhh..." This scared the shit out of Barry. He took a step away from Amanda and Thea.
  • But Thea hardly cared now. She jumped on Amanda on the ground and sat on top of her. Now without allowing Amanda to resist, Thea started hitting her left and right.
  • "Omg... Someone save Amanda..."
  • "You dolt... What are you doing recording the video? Help her."
  • "I know that girl. Isn't she Thea from our school?"
  • "That girl who hardly spoke?"
  • "Nah... That can't be her. She is so pretty. And pretty girls won't do something so brutish."
  • "She just had her boyfriend leave her for someone else..."
  • And everyone agreed.
  • Meanwhile, the girl holding the phone finally woke up from the shock. Looking at the crazy Thea, she was too scared to jump in and save Amanda. So, instead of helping her, the girl made a run inside the restaurant to get some help.
  • "You are breaking up with me just because I missed your call once?" Thea spoke without even looking up at Barry, "What a joke... Then what about the numerous times I was at your beck and call? Running in the rain to fetch an umbrella for you because you were so scared to step into the rain. Bloody pussy. Huh..." Thea smirked. Just one act of kindness made Barry change his mind? You got to be joking.
  • "Since kindness is not what you are looking for, it must be her money," Thea stopped for a while as she panted for air and looked at Amanda, "Aren't you a lucky rich brat?" Thea said and slapped Amanda straight across her face.
  • "No more... Let me go," Amanda weakly called out. She was about to lose consciousness, "I... I didn't know..."
  • "Well, that's true..." After slapping Amanda a couple more times, Thea grabbed Amanda by her hair and gave it a nice twirl before she finally let her go.
  • "It's all because of this money-grovelling bastard." Thea stood up and turned towards Barry.
  • "Don't... Don't come any closer, Thea," Barry took a few steps back.
  • "Why... Weren't we really close before?" Thea was like a crazy man. She only had one dream, and Barry shattered it in an instant. For Thea, her world fell apart.
  • But just as Thea slowly got closer to Barry, the girl who went out to get help returned. With her was the manager, along with other staff of the restaurant, Stacy included.
  • When Barry saw the help arrive, he felt like salvation.
  • "Help... Help... She is trying to harm me," Barry cried out hurriedly.
  • None of them knew what was happening, but the staff acted promptly. They had already seen some girl on the ground, and a girl in their uniform was approaching slowly towards the boy crying for help. If they did not stop it now, it could blow up badly.
  • “That...” When the manager saw the girl on the ground, her face went pale. It was Amanda, daughter of one of their VIP, ‘Shit.’
  • The manager did not waste a second and dashed towards Amanda while the others grabbed Thea.
  • " Thea enough... What do you think you are doin'?" Stacy called out to Thea as she grabbed her from behind.
  • "Let me go... I will kill that bastard,"
  • "Snap out of it, girl," Stacy was anxious, "You had already done enough." She, along with others, tried to pull Thea away from there.
  • With Thea being pulled away, Barry ran towards Amanda, but the damage was already done. Amanda lay on the ground with her eyes all red, her face bruised up, and blood all over her face. Amanda looked hideous. It was so bad that Barry could not even get himself to get close to Amanda.
  • "IT'S NOT OVER. IT'S NOT OVER, YOU CHEATING BASTARD. I WILL DESTROY YOU."
  • And everything fell into silence.
