Chapter 5 Whispers Of Betrayal

  • "A few days ago, there was a killing on the barren lands. Some vampires who went to the farm got into a fight with some rogue werewolves, who killed every vampire in the land. Now, the lands are empty and full of decaying blood and bones."
  • Carson said as he looked at the primus, who was sitting on the chair. The primus's eyes were so dark that there was no sign of a white or colored pupil. His jet-black hair emphasized the curve of his face, which didn't show any emotion, and his jaw was so sharp that it looked like it could cut an onion. His lips are big and red, and every woman in the vampires' land wants his attention. He was a sin god, and the god Kanchelsis must have made him on a special day to look different and be dangerous.
  • "Tell the three elders of the vampire's realm about what is going on, before it gets to me."
  • Blade asked. His voice was cold and showed no sign of emotion. The aura around him always put others on edge, and the primus could cut off one of their heads if they said or did anything wrong. He was known by his name.
  • "Yes, King Blade, the elders had sent powerful warriors to check on the vampires who were working in the barren land, but it seems the rogues knew they would be there, so they blew something into the air that must have killed the vampires in a minute, then attacked the weaker vampires who were working in the farmlands," one of the council members said. At first, rogues stole their food, but now they also kill the vampires. The leaders couldn't solve the case, so they had to give it to Blade Hemlock, who was the king of the vampires.
  • "Call the three strongest warriors from the four cities of Winfield and tell them that their king wants to see them. When the werewolves give us blood, you return the blood, an eye for an eye," Blade said. Everyone in the room bowed to him, and no one dared to argue with him. "Bring Ashrak to me, I need blood to feed on."
  • The vampire king said,
  • He was not going to hide the fact that he needed blood, and he needed it from the elder's daughter.
  • He went into his room, where the walls were made from the skin of a wolf. Vampires are older than werewolves and have been around longer. They don't have as many modern conveniences as werewolves do, and they prefer to stick to their old views. He sat down on the couch and bent his head as he thought about the meeting that had just happened. He thought those weren't just rogues, but were sent there by a pack he didn't know, which had changed their smells to hide their trail. He knew where they came from, but he had to give them some time to get used to their small adventures before he attacked with full force. God help them, he wouldn't feel sorry for anyone when he attacked with full force, but he has to wait. Before a storm, there was always a quiet time, and now is that time.
  • When someone knocked on his door, he could smell who it was right away. It was Ashrak, the grand elder's daughter. He didn't know why he liked taking her blood so much, but he did, and she was always happy to give it to him. He didn't open the door, but it opened anyway. He knew that the devil of the lady wouldn't give him time to say no.
  • Ashrak said, "You called me King Blade." Her voice was small and almost like a moan. He knew she was trying to sound sultry, but her voice never sounded that way to him. Instead, it sounded harsh.
  • Blade watched as she walked toward him. As she got closer, she bent down a little, showing him her cleavages, which he didn't find very attractive. They both knew they were nothing, and that they were just there to please each other. They were two different people, but they both wanted the same thing. She turned around so that her back was to him and took off her heels. Her mini-gown walked up her thighs, almost showing her lace pants, as she took them off. Blade closed his eyes. He hadn't called her because he wanted to do weird things with her, but because he needed her blood.
  • "Ashrak!" He shouted so loudly that the young vampiress couldn't move.
  • "I didn't know you were in a hurry," Ashrak said as she walked toward him. Just as she got within three feet of him, Blade grabbed her and pulled her toward him, making her fall onto his thighs. She let out a small scream, and before she had a chance to settle down fully on his thighs, he dug his canines into her neck. Blade sank his teeth into her neck, which made her scream in an unimaginable way, but he didn't care. He was drinking her blood, and the more he drank, the tighter his grip on her waist became. He was going to drink the last sip of her blood, and just as quickly, he pulled his teeth out of her neck, leaving her body on the cushion next to him. She had passed out while he was drinking her blood, and he wondered if she was dead or alive.
  • When he got up, he went to the bath to clean his mouth and wash the small pieces of flesh out of his teeth. When he came out, he was shocked to see his mother standing next to Ashrak, who still didn't seem to be awake.
  • He shut his eyes very tightly, before the rogues struck his king, his only family was his Father and Mother, who used to be king.
  • His mother told him,
  • "Marry her,"
  • and he stopped on his tracks.
  • His mother couldn't be serious, because she knew he would never marry her.
  • "Mother, you know that's not possible," Blade said as he hatefully stared at Ashrak.
  • She is a whore who had fucked many dicks, not just his.
  • "Why, you fucked with her, drank her blood, and now you've made her tired by feeding on her? No, you're going to marry her," Selene said, her fangs almost sticking out of her teeth as she looked at Blade.
  • "Never, she's a whore. She gives me blood and sex, and I give her power. We've both been getting what we need from each other," Blade said, walking to the closet to change his clothes.
  • The smell of Ashrak was still on his old shirt, which he threw in the trash and walked to his mother with darker eyes than before.
  • "I won't say it again, but since you're my mother, I'll spare you. Don't bring me someone I don't want to marry or tell me to. I have a mate out there, just like your father did, and he was waiting for you. He wasn't going to marry a prostitute, so give me some space and get out of my room."
  • He said, pointing to the door, Selene opened her mouth to speak, but he stopped her with a punch to the side of the wall where she stood, and she let out a small whimper. Her son was not the type to show feelings to anyone, not even his mother.
  • Blade shut his eyes tight. His mother had thrown trash out of her mouth, which made him so angry that he almost punched her.
  • He yelled, "Guard!" and a guard came in and bowed to him. "Take these women out of my presence. If she's dead, call her father for a proper burial," he told the guard, who shivered under his watch.
  • "Yes, my King," the guard said as he quickly carried Ashrak out of the room while he left Selene out of his room.
