Fan Hunjun knew that this was the truth no matter what Zhou Manlan was planning. Fan Hunjun could never forget Fang Youqin and Li Shanshan, and similarly, they probably couldn’t forget about Zhang Junhao.
Even though Fang Youqin had seen Zhang Junhao for who he was, she never did forget about him, or else, she wouldn’t have embarrassed him during the auction. That looked like she had let him go, but anyone could see she cared about him still, or she didn’t have to do that.
Li Shanshan was even worse. Even until now, she couldn’t pretend to love Fan Hunjun. Even though she did try to do that in the hotel across the hospital, Fan Hunjun knew she only did it for the money, and nothing could happen between them.
He couldn’t tell Zhou Manlan that though; talking bad about his wife before another woman would lead to misunderstandings.
Zhou Manlan then continued speaking as he kept quiet. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you. If Zhang Junhao would give her half a chance, she would go with him. This has nothing to do with her as a person; it’s humanity. Men like new stuff, while women are nostalgic.” Zhou Manlan was speaking genuinely, though she didn’t dare tell him that Huang Hongde would always stay in her heart no matter what.
Fan Hunjun nodded. “Thank you for your reminder,” he said genuinely.
