Chapter 65 Empty Space

• Back home in New York City, Laura was having a hard time as she tried to stop thinking about Drew. She knew it was a foolish thing to do as he was her mate, he was bound to her just as she was to him.
• "Damn you Drew for making me feel this way.'' she muttered.
• Just then, there was a loud crack at the far corner of the house. Laura stilled as she trained her ears towards the direction of the sound as she tried to listen for clues that would help her determine who it was.
