- She is inside the palace now, looking outside her window. She is thinking how things turned out this way. An insignificant girl, hated by her own father, becoming a demigod, savor of the city and in love with Keiran, the lord of the darkness. She smiles, feeling blessed for the first time in her life.
- “Are you alright?” Keiran comes with warm tea and offers it to her.
