Chapter 11

• "Coming!", Susie called out as she rushed to answer the door. She had a clue as to who had knocked, but she would only know for sure after opening the door. And of course, there he was, grinning at her like a little boy who'd just won a prize in a school competition. She couldn't help but smile back at him and stepped aside to let him pass.
• "So how did you manage to escape?", she asked as she locked the door with her back to him.
• "Well, it was easy," he shrugged and grabbed her from behind. "I told Mom I was going to watch the choir practice."
