Chapter 55 - Just A Phone Call Away

  • We entered Ryan's home, and I went directly to the kitchen. Fighting always makes me hungry... {psstt.. who are you fooling? You are hungry 24*7, and from when you started thinking that kicking someone in the face is a fight?} ... I rolled my eyes at my conscience and opened the fridge. My eyes instantly landed on the chocolate lying there... {that's not a good idea, Aadhya}... What? I am just claiming something unclaimed... {you are living in Ryan's home, and now you are stealing his chocolates also} ... Don't disturb me now. I took the chocolate and gave some to Dee, who was following me silently with so much guilt written on his face. If you are wondering, let me inform you that Dee didn't inform anyone about some very serious things. His wolf kept appearing in his mind, and he was even able to talk with him, but he didn't tell anyone because he was not sure what was happening to him.
  • Truth to be said, I can't blame him for this. I should have talked with him when his wolf surfaced for the very first time, but how would I know about anything? I am just a human; I never went through this phase. His healing capability is already developing. It's not the first time that his wound has healed itself, and Dee was very normal with it because he had already heard that wolves have healing abilities. No one told him that they got them only after they transformed into their wolves.
  • I was busy thinking when I heard sniffling and looked at dee. He is looking downwards and is trying hard to hide his tears from me while wiping them as soon as they fall from his eyes... {stop making him sad and guilty. Go and talk to him. This is the first time he has been silent for so much time} ... "What happened, dee? Did you not like chocolate? ".. {smooth... can't you just put your hurt side away for a while, when you know that your ignorant attitude is hurting him?}. He placed the chocolate on the kitchen slab and ran outside the kitchen... {it seemed like our chocolate needed to wait}. I also put mine on a slab and went towards my room. When I entered, dee was nowhere, and I knew exactly where he was. I lay on my stomach on the floor and crawled under the bed where Dee was sitting and crying.
