Chapter 29 - Love Story

• I cursed under my breath, and my eyes landed on the source of that squeaky shriek. A man is standing there with a shocked expression on his face. I stood from the ground and grumpily said sorry to him. I was about to cross him when he came and stood before me. I looked at him and knew he was also a werewolf by his build and smell. I cocked an eyebrow towards him, and an arrogant smirk came on his lips.
• "If I knew that nowadays beautiful girls have started falling from trees instead of fruits, then I would have built a treehouse on every tree of the crescent moon pack," he said while smirking and checking me out. I looked at him dumbfounded, and he looked at me as if expecting some reply... {Do I need to reply?} ... I asked myself and finally decided to ignore him and walk away. I was about to cross him when he grabbed my wrist, and by instinct, I flipped his hand, took hold of his wrist, and twisted it around his back while I put my left hand on his shoulder and kicked his legs, and he fell on the ground on his knees.
• "When a person doesn't give reply to your stupid thoughts, it means that she is not interested in you," I said to him in a calm tone, but when he tried to wriggle, I twisted his wrist more... not enough to break the bone but enough to cause him pain. He groaned and cursed in pain. {still, I need to be careful. When I broke Ethan's wrist, hurting him that bad was again not my intention}.
