Chapter 27 - I Love You

• He didn't have to ask me to breathe again as I automatically started breathing hungrily. He took a step backward after a few minutes, but I clutched his shirt, pulled him towards me, and continued smelling him. My bliss ended when suddenly the scent was gone. I opened my eyes and tried to sniff him more but found nothing.
• "Are you alright, Aadhya?" he asked me. I don't know why but tears welled up in my eyes, and my lower lip trembled.
• "I am unable to smell that '' I told him like a five-year-old, but I have no shame in accepting that because I wanted to smell that scent. He looked at me with concentration for a few minutes and then slowly removed my hands from his shirt and took a step backward.
