Chapter 24 - Choice Made

• Alpha was about to say something, but I gestured for him not to say anything. We sat there for a few minutes in silence until I recovered from this new piece of information. "Can we believe her?" I asked no one in particular and looked at Alpha. "She tried to attack us. How can we know whether she was telling the truth or not?"
• "I don't feel that she was lying about all this. My wolf is very cautious around humans, so he is always attentive, and I believe his instincts about humans. We don't think there is a single lie in her whole story," he concluded, and I groaned in irritation.
• "I am unable to understand anything. Why would they lie about my age?" I asked myself and rubbed my temples.
