• Paisley heaved a deep sigh after she returned to her own room. She thought of what happened earlier in Joseph's room and she was, once again, surprised by him.
• Earlier that day, Paisley had pretended to have failed to notice a flaw in their contract upon a discussion with Lucas, and it would act as an excuse for her to come find Joseph that night so that they could spend more time together.
