• Mu Yangyang looked at “Mo Zhenxuan” who stood there gloomily. Then, she widened her eyes in shock as she realized that his hand was bleeding.

• Well, I didn't put anything weird in the food. What's wrong? Why did he hurt himself?
• Mo Chenhao had chosen to ignore her. Just as he was about to leave, his phone rang.
• He looked at the unfamiliar number on his phone and rejected the call.
• Then, he looked at Mu Yangyang and said, “Let's go in.”
• His voice was low and deep. It even had a hint of gloominess.
• Mu Yangyang soon realized how scary “Mo Zhenxuan” was, so she quietly went in. Just as she was about to close the door, she contemplated if she should just leave him outside.
• Just then, Mo Chenhao's phone rang again.

• “Well, what are you doing still standing there?” Mo Chenhao said and took a step forward to look from atop her head. His tone was suggestive as he said, “Or have you thought it through and decided you're better off with me rather than my cousin?”
• When Mu Yangyang heard his words, she turned around and slammed the door in his face without hesitation.
• Mo Chenhao looked at the closed door with no signs of emotions in his eyes.
• Before this, he had to extend his stay for an extra two days because he had to search for the men who were chasing after him.
• And since they were no longer here, he had no need to continue staying at Mu Yangyang's place.
• This newly-wed wife was smart and kind enough, so she would not be in the way of his plans for now. Thus, he did not plan to bother her any further.
• At the alley, Mo Chenhao saw Shi Ye who was waiting for him there.
• When Shi Ye saw Mo Chenhao, he walked over. There was a barely noticeable hint of concern on his chiseled face.

• Shi Ye knew whom Mo Chenhao was talking about. Thus, he nodded and answered, “Mr. Mo said that you have blocked his number, so he changed to a new one. But you still didn't pick up, so he called me instead.”
• “Okay.” This was not the first time anyway.
• “Before you came, Mr. Mo called to say that if you did not bring your wife back home for dinner, he'll invite her himself.”
• Father was going to call that woman himself and ask her to have dinner with the Mo family?
• After a long while, Shi Ye finally heard Mo Chenhao's reply.

• She hesitated for a while, but since it had been ringing for quite some time now, she thought that it could not have been a prank call.
