• “Can you pass over the salad Scarlett?". Scarlett nodded and handed it over to me. I was preparing to go to work but Scarlett insisted I have breakfast, which is a good way to start the day. Everyone knows not to mess with a pregnant woman and their persistence. “It's yummy right. I cooked this myself". She said with a smile. “How many times do I have to remind you that you don't have to stress yourself about doing stuff like this considering your current condition? Butler Chu and the other maidservants are paid for this job".
• I explained and she frowned. I raised my hands up in surrender. My phone suddenly started ringing but it was on top of the shelf in the kitchen. I'm pretty sure I left it there when I went to remove water from the fridge. “I will get it". Scarlett said and stood up. “Who is it calling?". I asked because I wasn't expecting any call this morning. “It's your dad Ryan. Should I answer it".
