• Scarlett's POV
• The rays from the sun penetrating through the windows woke me up from sleep. I looked back only to find out Ryan was still asleep. This was actually the first time I had woken up before him. I gently turned over to face him, making sure not to wake him up. He looked really handsome when he was quiet. I couldn't afford to wake him up. His thick eyebrows and eyelashes highlighted his face with the reflection of the sun. His cute lips were calling out for a kiss. I couldn't help but trace my hand over his little stubble growing on his jaw. “You like what you see". Ryan spoke sitting up and giving me a kiss on the forehead. I blushed in embarrassment about getting caught. “Have you been awake all this while?". I couldn't help but ask. “Yeah, I was just waiting to see what else you would do". He spoke with a smile, placing my head on his chest. “You tricked me ". I spoke wrongly.
• “No I didn't. I woke up when I felt a shadow cast on me. I knew without a doubt it was you, so I had to pretend to be asleep just to know what you would do further". “I want to pee. Let go of me Ryan " . I said, trying harder to remove his hands. “Unless you promise me you will come back earlier". Ryan offered. “No!!. If you don't let go, I will really pee on the bed ". I tried to reason with him. “We have enough maidservants to wash the sheets if you do?". He spoke, holding me tightly. My bladder was about to burst. “Do you want to embarrass me?". He laughed and let me go. I quickly ran into the washroom while he laughed at my reaction. “Do you care to join me in for a shower?". I said, peeking out the door. “Count me in".Ryan spoke, tossing the pillow on the bed and getting up in a hurry. “You have limited patience". I spoke, tapping his chest. “Who would throw away such a good opportunity?". He spoke and entered the washroom with me.
