• The drive towards the morgue didn't take long. Noah's body was cremated. The ashes were thrown into the river, never to be found.
• Gabrielle took out her lighter, holding a cigar. She placed it between her lips, taking a long drag without lightening it. She grimaced at the empty feeling that seemed to settle in her chest.
• Two cars arrived, and her two bodyguards rushed toward her. Simone was the first to reach her. He almost forgot himself, going to take her hand, before he stopped. His eyes ran over her, looking for injuries.
