Chapter 15

• I join Tae Ho on the couch and sit, trying to pull my thoughts together. I can't seem to have one reason that makes sense to me of all the things he said about needing her to be his maid.
• I've listened to their conversation and I'm sure that Tae Ho is not telling me his real reasons for bringing the girl here. If I hadn't bugged her dress zipper before I allowed her to come here and see him, I wouldn't have known that he has been keeping an eye on her. How else would he have known that the dead girl was her friend?
• "So. . . You're saying I should give her to you isn't it?" I keep my eyes on his facial reactions to see how serious he is. "Why her? You don't need her when you have Dabin — the best and most loyal maid servant in this estate."
