Chapter 3

  • Albina Rae White Point of View
  • "And this is how the present culture of China has evolved after going through many religions communities. It has now shaped with five main religions and the present culture is a beautiful mix of traditional imprints and modern believes."
  • Wow!
  • How beautiful!
  • I can say that my professor can see stars and hearts in my eyes the more she talked. Such an amazing thing is culture. It has few similarities with each other; still it owns its own flavor too.
  • Astounding!
  • This is why I love this course. The more you learn about the ethnicity of different regions, the more you fall in love with it. And that is what makes any tradition so beautiful.
  • "Rae, the class is already over and you are still here daydreaming about God knows what." I heard my best friend, Cassie, shaking me out of my trance. I blinked my eyes to clear out the thoughts I was having and looked up see her frowning at me like usual.
  • Yes only God knows what I'm thinking. Only My Lord knows.
  • I pouted at her usual expression and scanned around the classroom to see that it's empty and the hallways are empty as well.
  • "Where is everyone?" I asked her to which she face palmed and pulled me out of the chair I'm sitting. She pushed me out of her way and packed my bag with the books and pens that are scattered on the table and hung the bag around my shoulder wordlessly.
  • "If you are not so busy with your daydreaming then you would know that it has been an hour and half that the class is over and most of the students has left." She scowled at me. I scratched my head feeling sorry for my friend to having her come back for me.
  • Gosh... I must be too busy thinking about My Lord!
  • I suddenly gasped and looked at my watch to see it's already past five which means I'm late for evening prayers already.
  • Oh no!
  • "Thanks Cassie, for coming back and look for me. But right now I have to leave. It's already time for my evening prayers." I said in a hurry and pulled my phone to text Kevin.
  • Poor man, must be waiting for me!
  • 'Hey Kevin, I'm sorry to be late today. I'm on my way there so please prepare the orchestra I asked for this morning and be ready with flowers and candles.'
  • I texted and ran out of the University premises. Cassie was about to reprimand me about my obsession and madness about being a blind devotee but the lecture can wait for another day. I need to reach my destination first.
  • I hope My Lord did not leave the office without getting done with the prayers. Kevin did inform me about an important meeting My Lord has to attend this evening.
  • Sitting in the Cab, I instantly gave the address to the driver and waited for him to fly through the roads and drop me at my destination as soon as possible.
  • When I think about My Lord, I just feel so lucky and fulfilled that out of all the people in the world, I was the one who is selected by the nature to assist My Lord. It is an immense honour to me to be there for him in every step of his adventurous life.
  • Looking back to the auspicious night I stumbled upon My Lord in rain, I can already say I was born to create miracles. Till that day, I had attended many prayer gatherings, visited many speeches but never had I thought that I would be the one to serve the Great Lord personally.
  • I can never stop thanking one of my prayer colleagues, Barrett, who told me about something awesome he read somewhere.
  • 'I read this a long time ago in my aunt's diary, Rae. It says that God's take births as a human due to many prominent reasons like say for example, they are defeated by evil enemy or if they were backstabbed or if they were meant to teach us humans the value of something that we are ignoring and many more. It is said that the only way to recognize a God in his human skin is through the hints of nature. When we come across a Deity in his human form, the nature roars in applause and shower him with a welcome.'
  • At first, I thought even though I'm said to be a very lucky girl with lucky hands, I didn't think of getting lucky enough to be able to recognize a Deity. The moment my eyes landed on him that night, I saw a red spark in his pupils when the lightning struck.
  • It was a clear night and I was strolling out to get myself some good coffee. The alleys were always empty with less people walking that way but I'm not very scared of it. At first, I did not realize that there was someone else on the lonely road but when I heard the roaring sound of a car starting, I saw a dark figure coming out of an apartment building in powerful strides.
  • I would've continued to walk past him if it was not for the sudden roar thunders and strong patter of rain. Dark clouds raced in the sky in full speed and settled themselves over the locality. The first drop of rain that hit me was when I saw him walking to his car with power and authority.
  • And the moment our eyes met, lightening showed me the red glint in his eyes. I was so overwhelmed to think that I just found a Deity at first but looking at the nature's hints, the shower of rain, the roaring of thundering, the red glint in his eyes; He is the one!
  • He is the one!
  • The sole reason for my birth!
  • The one who will change the world with his presence.
  • The one to teach us a valuable lesson.
  • The one who fights evil for us.
  • The one who will go through many trials only for humans to be safe and happy.
  • He is My Lord!
  • And I'm his helper and a slave.
  • "We are here, Miss." I heard the driver. I paid the fare and ran into the office building that My Lord own and runs.
  • In this birth, My Lord is a businessman and earned trillions of money with his hard work and dedication. Though he still did not realize which God he is why he had to reincarnate, we are still trying to find it out slowly. Nonetheless, the hard work and dedication he worked alone to build everything is the key that although he doesn't have a memory of his past life, he still has the traits of a Great Deity.
  • "Miss White, I had to reschedule his important meeting to dinner so you can get done with the prayers. He is very angry at me for doing so without his permission." Kevin said in a terrified tone, walking me towards My Lord's office room.
  • "Its okay, Kevin. We, as worshipers, are there for him to calm his anger down with her sincerity. And please call me Albina or Rae. We are colleagues now." I replied back with a smile to reassure him.
  • Poor Kevin, must have been very terrified to see power oozing from My Lord.
  • Without wasting any more time, I walked into his office and noticed him sitting in his revolving chair with his head in his hands. Uncle Odell was also present, working on some papers.
  • I clapped my hands excitedly to gain their attention and felt glad to see that Kevin has done splendid in arranging everything I asked for.
  • Great!
  • My Lord raised his eyes with a tired face and dropped it back into his hands. I noticed Uncle Odell smiling at me so I smiled at him back and gestured him asking what is wrong with My Lord.
  • He gestured me back that My Lord is experiencing severe headache to which I scolded myself for being a bad devotee and a helper.
  • "I'm sorry to come late, My Lord. But now that I'm here, I will get your strength back with my devotion and prayers. After all a genuine prayer is always a God's strength." I said and rushed towards the Orchestra and gave him music sheets.
  • My Lord has been experiencing the deplete in strength because I am not giving him enough of my sincerity.
  • Bad, Albina. Very bad!
  • "Not now, Cuckoo. Get out and leave me alone." He gritted angrily. I scanned his tired face and realized that he is beyond the normal level of tiredness. Uncle Odell was already standing from his chair and took a seat on the couch which was on the other side of the large office room.
  • "I know you are not energetic, My Lord and since I'm here, I will refill your energy with prayer songs I made myself for you specially. Tonight will be the special choir night." I said smiling admiringly at him.
  • Giving out lyrics sheets to Kevin and Uncle Odell who are looking clearly happy to be a part of this group to restore the energy of My Lord.
  • "Kevin and Uncle Odell, we will first sing the chorus together and the other parts I will sing alone. You both will only sing chorus with me for now since it's your first time." I said ignoring the irritated God.
  • Lighting a candle on the floor at his foot, we started singing self composed songs for My Lord.
  • 'A summer sun on a winter day~~~
  • A drop of rain on a hot summer day~~~
  • My Lord, you give us the relief in the times of sufferings...
  • Sufferings... sufferings~~~~
  • Oh~~~ My Lord~~~ My Powerful Lord in human skin~~~
  • We love you and adore you~~~
  • You are our strength and our prayers is your power,
  • Oh Lord~~~ My Lord~~~ Our Lord~~~'
