• Keiran sighed, exhausted and desperate. He ruffled his hair and put his elbows on the desk. The security cameras in the castle were overwritten, and there was no sign of the poison that had been used. Even if he and his friends were certain Herbert had put the venom in the tea, they still didn't have any evidence and couldn't prove his involvement in this.
• A warm presence enveloped his back, and Helena leaned on his shoulder. He touched her arms and closed his eyes, her presence letting a part of him relax. Everything was better with her. Even the moments he wondered if they'd see the next sunrise.
