Chapter 24

• A few hours later, Helena regretted she even had even thought of refusing this magical drink. She had always been a good drinker and thought she'd be able to handle two glasses of it, but... What? She chuckled to herself. She handled it. It was the first time in months she felt so carefree and merry.
• She was having so much fun. Everybody was dancing, laughing, and fighting against each other with the couch's pillows. Feathers were flying all over the room, making her imagine the birds they were on once. She could almost hear their chirping. Or was it the alcohol?
• This reminded her of the hunger that was rolling in her. Both for food and someone else... Someone she didn't bother thinking about now. Finally, the world was better without him, why would she destroy her peace.
