• “That was the night I found out he was just like his mother, and he never actually cared about me. I brought the girl to his room, intending to argue. When Herbert opened the door, he started joking if I wanted a threesome and that he had a few more girls in his room. He said we'd freaking be able to have even more fun together!” Keiran scoffed and thinned his lips. “We got into a big fight that night. It wasn't pretty, and even the servants hid in their rooms. Herbert challenged me to a duel, probably hoping I'd get scared of him, or he'd easily get rid of me. He didn't expect me to actually shift and my other form to be almost his size.
• “He was so full of himself that he taunted and challenged me... And this led to even worse consequences. The girl he had sent to me started filming our fight and laughing at me with the other girls. They wanted to make me look insane and publish the video online. Rosalind and Herbert had betrayed us.”
• Keiran's hands started shaking, but he fisted them to stop his turmoil. “I let rage overtake me. I just wanted to tear Herbert apart. My lycan couldn't understand why they were treating me like this and why I remained silent. So, he took over. He protected me. But my control was so weak already that I didn't know what I was doing. All I saw was bloodthirst. I wanted them all gone. By the time my father and Rosalind came, called by the servants, the girls were already dead and I was on Herbert's neck.
