  • By the time she was on the green grass, Keiran was already in the middle of the trees, only his eyes visible in the darkness. Helena sprinted after him, forgetting about everything else rolling in her head. Her desperation to catch up to him and comfort him made her realize how into him she already was. It really seemed impossible to give up on Keiran. She was now his.

Helena was sprinting as fast as she could, and here he was, running from his two hind legs to his four. To her, it looked like he was just jogging. Keiran was so far from using his full potential. He was changing his legs accordingly to the roughness of the ground and the undergrowth around them.
