Chapter 65

• Chlöe’s stomach grumbled. She could only wish that the ground opened and swallowed her whole or that the seat she sat on consumed her. Lorenzo looked at her with a sly smile playing on his lips and then his stomach grumbled too. Reflexively, her neck swiped over to look at Lorenzo and he winked.
• “Makes us both” she mumbled to herself but Lorenzo heard her loud and clear.
• “Should we go eat then go eat?” He whispered and sent her a wink. Without an answer from her, he drove to one of his favorite places to eat. "And here we are," Lorenzo suddenly sang, causing Chlöe’s head to snap. Chlöe watched as Lorenzo looked for a space to park. Soon he found one at the far end of the parking lot and he quickly pulled over to the space and then parked there.
