• "How did you sleep?" Lorenzo asked Chlöe, startling her. She almost jumped out of her skin upon hearing the unannounced voice of Lorenzo from behind her. She looked intently at him trying to confirm if she was hearing things or if there was someone else in the room he was talking to.
• "Pardon?" Chlöe asked. It had been days since Lorenzo looked her in the face but here he suddenly was, asking her about her night? She thought she was dreaming.
• "How did you sleep?" Lorenzo asked again, with a pant-dropping smile gracing his face.
