Chapter 34

Chlöe tried to calm herself down before she would start making Mr Lorenzo's coffee. She didn't want to make a mistake because she knew she would definitely get reprimanded by him if she did. He was paying her five hundred dollars for this service so of course, the best was expected of her and the coffee she made for him, except she wanted to lose her job and she didn't want to risk that— she couldn't.
She closed her eyes and tried to imagine another scenario likewhen she danced on stage, or when she's walking off to the bus stop while listening to songs she liked. The images helped and she was soon smiling to herself so she opened her eyes and began to brew the coffee with the coffee machine in the kitchen.
She finished and turned it into a mug. She placed it on a tray with a tiny jar of cream beside it, Incase he wanted it and went to the sink to rinse her hand first before she'd go off to serve him in his office.
